Bawi Construction has an active presence in Valu lui Traian

Our presence in Valu lui Traian confirms Bawi Construction’s commitment to Romania’s vital infrastructure and the company’s ability to manage complex projects.

Since spring 2024, Bawi Construction has been actively involved in the project Modernization of the railway infrastructure in the Port of Constanta – Stage I Valu lui Traian (Design and Execution) assuming the general management for the complex rehabilitation and modernization works of the Valu lui Traian Triage, a key point of rail connectivity of the Port of Constanta to the national rail transport network. The project, carried out in partnership with national and regional authorities, aims to optimize the movement of freight trains, by restoring the lines, modernizing the signaling installations and fully electrifying the new modernized lines, with the aim of increasing operational safety.

The implementation of this project will better highlight the Rehabilitation works of the public railway infrastructure in the Port of Constanta that Bawi carried out in several stages during the years 2022-2025 and which meant the rehabilitation of 53.557 km of track and 224 equivalent switches.

Bawi Construction is engaged, also as General Contractor, in the continuation of the works in Valu lui Traian, respectively in the project Modernization of the railway infrastructure in the Port of Constanta – Stage II (Design and Execution).

All these projects are part of Romania’s strategy to connect the Black Sea to European transport networks. Bawi Construction’s presence in all these projects confirms our commitment to our country’s vital infrastructure as well as the company’s ability to manage complex projects.
