AHK Sommerfest 2025 On June 20, 2025, Bawi Construction proudly participated as a partner and sponsor in the AHK Sommerfest – a flagship event organized by the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Romania). More than 800 professionals and business leaders from both local and international environments came together to create the perfect setting for networking, collaboration, and celebrating strong economic partnerships. The leadership of Bawi Construction is a member of the AHK Romania Board, actively contributing to strengthening dialogue and cooperation between the Romanian and German business communities. Our presence in Valu lui Traian confirms Bawi Construction’s commitment to Romania’s vital infrastructure and the company’s ability to manage complex projects. Since spring 2024, Bawi Construction has been actively involved in the project Modernization of the railway infrastructure in the Port of Constanta – Stage I Valu lui Traian (Design and Execution) assuming the general management for the complex rehabilitation and modernization works of the Valu lui Traian Triage, a key point of rail connectivity of the Port of Constanta to the national rail transport network. The project, carried out in partnership with national and regional authorities, aims to optimize the movement of freight trains, by restoring the lines, modernizing the signaling installations and fully electrifying the new modernized lines, with the aim of increasing operational safety. The implementation of this project will better highlight the Rehabilitation works of the public railway infrastructure in the Port of Constanta that Bawi carried out in several stages during the years 2022-2025 and which meant the rehabilitation of 53.557 km of track and 224 equivalent switches. Bawi Construction is engaged, also as General Contractor, in the continuation of the works in Valu lui Traian, respectively in the project Modernization of the railway infrastructure in the Port of Constanta – Stage II (Design and Execution). All these projects are part of Romania’s strategy to connect the Black Sea to European transport networks. Bawi Construction’s presence in all these projects confirms our commitment to our country’s vital infrastructure as well as the company’s ability to manage complex projects.

We are thrilled to introduce the newest member of our family – the RM90! This machine specializes in ballast cleaning for railway tracks and switches and is ideal for use with low axle loads and small clearance profiles. Key Highlights: Efficient Material Excavation: The transverse beam-guided excavation chain enables powerful and precise removal of old material. Supply of New Ballast: Flexible in use, as it can supply new ballast directly onto the construction track. Three-Stage Ballast Screening: A three-stage screening system ensures exceptional cleaning quality by reliably removing debris. With the RM90, we are expanding our machinery fleet with another innovative and efficient device that makes work on the construction site even faster and more precise.

We have reached a significant milestone – our 20th anniversary! We celebrated this special occasion by leaving work behind for a day and heading out into nature together. It was an eventful day that once again demonstrated our team’s strong sense of unity within our team. The beautiful natural surroundings, games together, delicious food and drinks made our anniversary something very special. It showed once again how versatile and adaptable our team is – both on such occasions and in our day-to-day work. Our anniversary concluded with a get-together around the campfire.
